As we head towards the end of 2019, while it’s good to look ahead and think about what the new year may unveil, reflection can be a very good teacher too.
2019 has been quite a year for all of us at COMMUNICATE. On a personal level, it was one of the most interesting years of my worklife. I have learnt tremendously from both the young and experienced people on the team, going through many personal and professional developments, while pushing the boundaries of creative expressions.
I would like to start with a huge thank you to my team. I am humbled by all your wonderful contributions towards the growth and success of our company in this short 1.5 years. We have strived to put our clients at the heart of everything we do and on behalf of team COMMUNICATE, we sincerely appreciate our client’s trust, support and excellent collaboration with us.
The road ahead is always exciting and I do have a wish list for Santa, which I would like to share.
I wish for the team to continue embracing change. With digital shift and AI changing the way we work and influencing trends, this is so important. The Dalai Lama once said, “The greatest gift you can give a child is to prepare them for great change”. The road to digital transformation and innovation can be cobbled, but I am confident with the right attitude and aptitude, challenges will be embraced and adapted to quickly. Human beings are resilient in that sense.
The team loves what they are doing and our clients are the benefactor of this passion. With value creation being the cornerstone of our delivery, I wish for us to continue being purposeful in all that we do and to ensure we deliver impactful outcomes.
Why do I focus so much on the team? Richard Branson believes that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.
And happy clients are our ultimate goal.
